Kiran Rao wanted Salman in 'Dhobi Ghat'

Filmmaker of Dhobi Ghat, Kiran Rao revealed that the character of Munna in the film played by Pratiek Babbar is a huge fan of Salman Khan and wears Salman Khan’s bracelet as well. She says, “His room has many Salman Khan’s pictures. There is a Katrina Kaif picture too, because while we were shooting, Salman and she were still together..There is also one picture of Aishwarya’s eyes.” She adds, “In fact, initially I was thinking to get Salman to do a special appearance for the film, wherein Munna gets a chance to meet Salman. But when the script was ready that scene didn't fit into it.”

Kiran also said that thanks to Aamir Khan's presence in the film, the budget of her film which was initially decided at Rs 2 crores went up by quite a bit.
