THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The UDF Government made its first major bureaucratic reshuffle on Wednesday by appointing new six District Collectors and a few Secretaries.
P M Francis will be the new Thiruvananthapuram District Collector and Dinesh Arora, the present incumbent, has been shifted to Alappuzha. P Venugopal has been posted as the new Collector in Pathanamthitta, M C Mohandas in Malappuram, Rathan Khelkar in Kollam and E Devadasan in Idukki. Rani George will be the new Tourism Director with the additional charge of Special Secretary, Coir Department. Gopala Menon will be the new Secretary of Cooperation Department. V J Kurian has been made the Principal Secretary of Water Resources and Irrigation Department and will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL). T K Manoj Kumar will hold the additional charge of the Land Revenue Commissioner. Manoj Joshi will be the new Ports Secretary and will hold the additional charge of Public Works Department. K R Jyothilal will be the new General Administration Secretary and T T Antony will be the new Labour Commissioner.
