Mumbai: Charges will be framed in the Keenan-Reuben murder case on Friday. The two youngsters were stabbed to death by a mob in October in 2011 for taking on eve-teasers.
Four people were arrested for murder and eve teasing and several others were booked for rioting in the case.
On October 20, 2011, 28-year-old Reuben Fernandez and 25-year-old Keenan Santos were attacked with choppers by a group of four, after the duo objected to their alleged acts of indecent behaviour against their women companions. Keenan died on the spot, while Rueben died in a hospital later.
The victims along with five others, including three girls, had gone to a bar to have dinner. After a while, they came out of the restaurant and were standing near a pan-shop, when the incident had occurred, police had said.
