The perfect build, hard work and concern for cinema have not given amazing status for Aditya the six foot tall actor. He is the third generation of actor from his family that is the pride of Kannada filmdom.

He is now back after one year hibernation in 'Rakthaksha' taken up by his eminent father S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu to direct. From 'Love' as an actor Aditya's journey has not been very successful. He played lead roles in Kannada films Ambi, Madana, Adi, Ishwar, Deadly Soma and Kshana Kshana. He is anxiously waiting for a massive breakthrough from 'Rakthaksha'.

Here is a quick chat with this tall, well built and well mannered actor Aditya:

What did you do in one year gap from films?

I was looking for a major breakthrough. Lot of discussion went on in our family of artists and technicians. I have reduced the weight for this out and out action film 'Rakthaksha' that is directed by my father S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu. I have grown natural lengthy hair required for the film. Using wigs would not be comfortable for me.

You will be throughout in this hairstyle in 'Rakthaksha'?

I have different get ups. I play intelligence officer. I will be always in disguise. This hair style is required for some important portions.

You have acted in a few films none of them was full of action cinema?

It was only in 'Deadly Soma' I played a part of action hero role. None of them were full length. The last film I have acted with challenging star my best friend Darshan was 'Snehana Preethina. In 'Rakthaksha' besides action there are very important issues for which I work in the cinema.

In the last one year you missed lot of films?

Half a dozen films I rejected. One reason for that is the preparation what I had to make for 'Rakthaksha' and secondly I was looking after the production of my father films 'Thipparahalli Tharlegalu, Buddivantha and Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids'.

What is the planning of work schedule for 'Rakthaksha'?

It will be done in five schedules. In each schedule we are working for 15 days. We are shooting in Mangalore, New Delhi, Dubai and Singapore. This is a tough role for me but I have taken this with lot of confidence.

Are you handling the stunts on your own?

Yes. There are six action packed thrills. The stunt directors from Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood are composing. I will be doing the stunts on my own on the instructions from stunt directors.

Which camera you are using for 'Rakthaksha'?

For the first time the Super 35 3 Perforation Camera is used. In Kannada film 'Minchina Ota' super 35 4 perforation Camera was used. The DI grading is done for this film.

Who are the heroines for you?

One from Mangalore is almost selected and another heroine hunt is going on.

What's your reaction?
