Justice P C Balakrishna Menon cremated

KOCHI: Justice P C Balakrishna Menon, 82, the  first Lokayukta of Kerala, received a tearful adieu here on Sunday. The body was cremated at the Ravipuram crematorium at 4 pm.Former Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court died of heart failure at a private hospital, here, on Saturday.The body was brought to his residence at 9.30 am for the public to pay last respects.  Chief Justice of Kerala Jasti Chelameswar, Mayor Tony Chammany, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, Union Minister of State for Agriculture K V Thomas, and many dignitaries from the legal fraternity paid their respects.He is survived by wife Valsala and children Ambika, Geetha and Sathyaraj.
