KOCHI: Jayathe Petrotech Engineers and Consultants Pvt Ltd (JPEC), a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy organisation with operations in Middle East, North Africa and India, has launched its engineering division at Infopark Kochi. John Minu Mathew, Executive Director, BPCL Kochi Refinery inaugurated the new office. The new facility with 6900 sq ft area has been set up at Athulya building in the Infopark.The Kochi office will provide design and engineering consultancy services to JPEC’s global clients. “We are a 100-people strong company with 30 professionals working from our Kochi office. We will be taking up some major projects from Sudan, Yemen, Nigeria, Middle East and Chad soon. We are looking at recruiting more professionals in the near future,” said A Ashokan, CEO, JPEC giving details on the Indian operations.Welcoming Jayathe Petrotech, Infopark CEO Gigo Joseph said, “We are more than happy to extend our support to the company, to enable them to operate smoothly from Infopark. The park’s facilities are being widely appreciated. A lot of companies have been showing keen interest to set up operations from Infopark ranging from various business sectors.”The inaugural function was attended by different Infopark officials, senior officials and employees of Jayathe Petrotech and CEOs of other companies of the park.Since its inception in 2005, JPEC has been providing detailed engineering and project management services for pipelines, Oil and Gas, Power Plants, Refineries and Petrochemicals. The company provides consultancy in feasibility study, conceptual design, front-end engineering design (FEED), pipeline design, commissioning assistance, and project management consultancy services.
