CHENNAI: The State government has transferred many officers, including the Secretaries for Food and Civil Supplies and Land Reforms.Jayashree Raghunandan, Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), will take over as the Commissioner of Land Reforms. She replaces MP Nirmala, who will be taking over as Secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.TN Ramanathan, Secretary, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection, will assume charge as the Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy. He replaces A Mohammed Aslam who will function as the Project Director of SSA.S Thangaswami, former Commissioner of Disciplinary Proceedings, Coimbatore, has been transferred as the Commissioner of Minorities Welfare replacing Harmander Singh who will take over as the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce.PM Basheer Ahamed, former chairman and managing director of Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd, has been posted as Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection replacing K Balachandran who will assume charge as the CMD of Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Limited.C Kamaraj, former Collector of Erode, will function as the managing director of Tamil Nadu Salt Corporation Limited.
