Paris: Fourth-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia has advanced to the fourth round of the French Open by defeating Alona Bondarenko of Ukraine 6-4, 7-6 (3).
Jankovic overcame 33 unforced errors and converted only 8 of her 14 break points on Saturday to extend her winning record against Bondarenko to 10-1.
Jankovic, who twice reached the semifinals in Paris, will next play Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia.
