Jail Bharo by trade unions

BHUBANESWAR: Members of 11 trade unions courted arrest here on Tuesday by breaking the police cordon during a ‘satyagraha and jail bharo’ stir against price hike of essentials.A rally organised from the State CPI headquarters at Ashok Nagar terminated at PMG Square where leaders of AITUC, CITU,   and others addressed a gathering. Some bank employees attended the rally under the banner of AOBEA.The demands include minimum wage, provident fund, pension, health insurance, bonus and social security.
