IUML communalising Kanhangad violence: VS

ALUVA: The Indian Union Muslim League is indulging in communalising Kanhangad violence,  Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan has said. He was speaking to mediapersons at the Government Guesthouse here.  The IUML’s boycott of the all-party meet is a clear evidence of the same.VS said that after studying the details he would comment on the UDF allegation that controversial police officer ACP Radhakrishna Pillai, who fired at the students in Kozhikode, was granted promotion during the LDF rule.  Oommen Chandy has committed two mistakes in the Assembly recently. Chandy corrected a mistake by cancelling the order giving Nirmal Madhav admission in Kozhikode Engineering College. But in the case of the ACP, Chief Minister is playing dirty tactics to delay the action.  The report of the DGP has been handed over to the Additional Chief Secretary for further inquiry.  But he has gone to supervise the arrangements at Sabarimala, the opposition leader said.The LDF would launch strong agitation if the action against the police officer is delayed, he said.
