New Delhi: A newspaper report in London claims Israel has been assassinating scientists involved in Iran's nuclear programme.
The report in The Telegraph quoted intelligence sources on the case of Ardeshir Hassanpour , a top scientist at the Isfahan uranium plant who was killed by gas poisoning two years ago.
The Israeli agency Mossad was allegedly behind the incident.
The report says Israel is carrying out the assassinations with Washington's approval and is also trying to disrupt the nuclear supply chain, to slow down the pace at which Iran is developing nuclear weapons.
