Kolkata: Internationally-acclaimed Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan walked the ramp here in an elegant black sherwani for designer Shane and Falguni Peacock.
Also featuring international designer Ana Locking, the fashion extravaganza held last night was part of the 'Signature Premier World of 8 International Fashion Tour' which brought global fashion capital Madrid to Kolkata.
Shane & Falguni Peacock's bride collection was honest to the brand's signature use of feathers, sequence and prints as the husband-wife duo presented a glamorous assortment of lehengas, saris and cholis in a melange of colours, sprinkled with crystals.
For men, their collection had regal looking embellished sherwanis, one of which actor Irrfan wore as he stole the show as the star attraction.
Perfect for traditional occasions like weddings, the Peacock's collection offered the perfect fusion of ethnic embroidery with western silhouettes.
Also seen were floral motifs sprinkled on saris with embroidered borders and worn tasselled shoulder corsets, as well as tiered frilled net gowns with glittering corsets.
For Madrid's designer Ana, Miss Spain Paula Guillo walked the ramp as her showstopper.
