New Delhi: The government of India is analysing Pakistan's action against Jaish-e-Mohammad. Pakistan had arrested three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in connection with the Pathankot terror case.
According to Pakistan-based news channel Geo TV, raids were conducted by Pakistani agencies in various places leading to the arrest. However, there has not been any official confirmation of the arrest, or direct linkage of the arrest to Pathankot attacks.
If sources are to be believed, Pakistan statements on the arrests do reflect intent to create better climate. The Indian investigating agencies will asses the suggestion of an SIT from Pakistan. The sources added that the agencies need to know the terms of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), mandate, among others.
"We will take a decision on Wednesday night or early on Thursday. The Prime Minister will take a final call on foreign secretary-level talks", sources added.
