Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan says he would like the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray to watch his ambitious fantasy adventure Drona, releasing Thursday.
"I'd love Raj Thackeray to watch Drona. I hope he does. And I hope he enjoys it. I know he will. “He loves watching good films. And I'd like to think 'Drona is a good film," Abhishek said.
It seems Abhishek has no ill-feelings towards Raj Thackeray who disrupted the premiere of his father's film "The Last Lear" after Jaya Bachchan's "anti-Marathi" remarks last month. In fact, there is widespread speculation that Raj would be invited to the Drona premiere to be held here Oct 2.
Abhishek neither confirmed nor denied this possibility.
