HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Development Project, with aid from the World Bank and grants from the 13th Finance Commission, will ensure planned growth of urban areas, including Hyderabad city, in the next five years. Addressing the Republic Day Parade held at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad here on Thursday, governor ESL Narasimhan said that for overall development of Greater Hyderabad, Phase-II of the 100-Day Action Plan was being implemented by spending about Rs 900 crore.The money will be spent on various developmental activities by the GHMC, HMWS&SB, HMDA, APCPDCL, APTransco, APSRTC and R&B department.Work on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) project, costing Rs 6,786 crore, is going at a brisk pace. The government will roll out Phase-II of the MMTS soon.
