New Delhi: Justine Henin's game is suited to grass but Wimbledon remains a blemish on her statistics. The Belgian has won each of the other three Grand Slams, but is still awaiting her maiden victory at the Wimbledon.
With a new coach and a new attitude, a relaxed Henin has arrived in Eastbourne to hone her preparations on grass for another assault on the Wimbledon title next week.
Wimbledon remains the only Grand Slam crown to elude her. A finalist last year, Henin went down 6-2, 3-6, 4-6 to Amélie Mauresmo. But she is prepared for the grind this year.
"Well, no, it's been great. The fact that I really had these good people around me to share this moment in Paris was amazing. And now it is Wimbledon coming and it's a lot of expectations for myself for sure but I just ant to share each moment in my life and my career, and the first is Eastbourne and I try to get some good matches on grass to get ready for next week," Henin says.
The transition from clay to grass court success is a tough challenge but it is a necessity if Henin is to add the missing Wimbledon trophy to her collection.
