Help drop false cases on MLA

PUDUCHERRY: The AIADMK, on Tuesday, urged  Lt Governor Iqbal Singh to take steps to drop false cases foisted on party’s Yanam unit president Saikumar and take action against the police who charged the cases at the instance of the local MLA.AIADMK Puducherry secretary A Anbalagan said the police had registered false cases against Saikumar, who had contested unsuccessfully against Malladi Krishna Rao (present Yanam MLA) in the last election in May, 2011.In the memorandum, Anbalagan charged that to seek revenge, Malladi Krishna Rao took advantage of the situation and pressured the local police to register false cases against Saikumar for the death of K C Chandrasekar, president (operations) of the Regency Ceramics.
