A local tea seller in Gwlaior has filed nomination for the President’s election.

Gwalior: A local tea seller in Gwalior has filed nomination for the President’s election.

Anand Singh Kushwah, a resident of Lashkar in Gwalior runs small tea vend in Taraganj area and has contested several elections in the past.

“If a tea-seller could become Prime Minister of the country why can’t another be the President,” Kushwah said. He already has contested election for the vice-president.

During last time, I could secure enough support. This time I am in touch with the MPs and MLAs of Uttar Pradesh, Kushwah claimed.

According to information, Kushwah visited New Delhi and filed his nomination before the Chief Election Officer in the parliament.

According to the affidavit filed by Kushwah, he possesses Rs five thousand cash, a bicycle, a house, tea stall and a mangalsutra owned by his wife. He has bank loan of Rs 12,000 and owes Rs 60,000 to others. Riding high on his bizarre aspirations, Kushwah is still busy selling tea at his small stall.
