On Saturday, Rajesh, employed as a driver by the BMW owner, surrendered claiming that he was at the wheel of the ill-fated car.

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday will be hearing the anticipatory bail plea of the alleged driver in the Gurgaon BMW hit-and-run case. A pregnant woman and her driver were killed in the May 5 accident.

Meanwhile, Gurgaon police has issued a notice to the car owner’s son. Devender Singh Sehrawat’s 21-year-old son who they claim is unwilling to cooperate.

On Saturday, Rajesh, employed as a driver by the BMW owner, surrendered before a Gurgaon court, claiming that he was at the wheel of the ill-fated car.

Sources have told CNN-IBN that initial police report shows that Rajesh was not driving the car at all. This, then, raises several crucial questions.

If Rajesh was not at the wheel, could this be a cover-up to shield the family? Initial suspicion pointed towards the property dealer's college-going son.
