New Delhi: India is ready for "meaningful dialogue", as long as Pakistan does not allow groups to use its territory to export terror, President Pratibha Patil said on Monday.
"With Pakistan we seek a peaceful resolution of issues through a meaningful dialogue so long as Pakistan does not allow its soil to be used for terrorist activities against India," Patil said in her joint address to both houses of parliament.
India and Pakistan recently agreed to resume dialogue in various sectors after their foreign secretaries met on the sidelines of the meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation in Thimphu this month.
The foreign minister-level talks will take place in July in New Delhi, which will review the progress of discussions on various fronts from counter-terrorism to water issues.
