Fishermans body found

The body of the fisherman, who went missing on August 31, was washed ashore  on Chempakaramanthura coast on Sunday. Police identified the deceased as Vincent, 38, son of Elias , Pulluvila, Karimkulam. Police said that Vincent had ventured out into the sea along with three others around 6.30 a m on Friday morning.

Vincent was swept away in a huge wave while laying the ‘kambavala’, the large traditional fishing net.”Though his companions, Sebastian, Saju and Wilfred searched for him for sometime, it was in vain.The Coast Guard, police and fishermen had been engaged in the search for Vincent. He is survived by wife and three children.
