Emergency landing for MPs chopper

BANGALORE: Rajya Sabha member from Congress Anil Lad’s personal helicopter on Thursday made an emergency landing in Andhra Pradesh due to inclement weather.Lad said that he was flying to Bangalore from Sandur in Bellary district when the weather suddenly turned bad following which his helicopter made an emergency landing in Dharmavaram.“Emergency landing was carried out as I decided not to take any risk, especially in the wake of increasing chopper crashes involving some VIPs,” he said.
