CHENNAI: The DMDK members staged a walk out from the State Assembly on Wednesday objecting to the remark made by AIADMK MLA KP Krishnan. Participating in the discussion on the budget for 2012-13 in the Assembly, Krishnan said the party which had lost their deposit in the Sankarankoil by-election was pondering over whether to run the party or not.Objecting to this remark, the DMDK members were on their feet. Intervening, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa said Krishnan had not mentioned the name of any political party. As such, why the DMDK members were objecting to Krishnan’s remark, she wondered.Responding to this, DMDK leader Panruti S Ramachandran said while starting his speech, Krishnan had referred to the challenge posed by the CM last month over Sankarankoil bypoll and then he referred to the result of that by-election, thus indirectly referring to the DMDK. Following this, Ramachandran led his party members in a walk-out.Earlier, DMK members objected and staged a walk-out. when the Chief Minister denied charge of DMK leader M K Stalin about violating conventions of the State Assembly.
