Harpal Singh was arrested on Monday, a day after he allegedly hacked his wife Jaspreet Kaur to death in the beauty parlour she ran in the Rani Bagh area.
New Delhi: A 36-year-old property dealer in west Delhi was arrested for murdering his wife, who was repeatedly urging him to give up his drugs habit, said police on Tuesday.
Harpal Singh was arrested on Monday from his relative's residence in Nihal Vihar, a day after he allegedly hacked his wife Jaspreet Kaur to death in the beauty parlour she ran in the Rani Bagh area.
During interrogation, Singh revealed that his wife objected to his drug and alcohol consumption habits, due to which they used to quarrel each other.
Irritated by his wife's exhortations, he went to her parlour on Sunday and killed her.
