BANGALORE: Mumbai's sharp shooter Yousuf Bachkhana, who was recently shifted to Gulbarga jail from Parappana Agrahara jail, is still smuggling guns to his aides for underworld activities.
The incident came to light after Kadugondanahalli police arrested two persons including his brother Mardan Sulaiman Khan and another rowdy Ismail Shareef.Bachkhana, was arrested by the Bangalore police, nine years ago for the murder of builder Subbaraju in Sheshadripuram. He supplied guns through his men while he was in the jail, serving judicial custody. Shareef contacted Bachkhana and tried to purchase two pistols for Rs 1.30 lakh. Bachkhana, after receiving money, had supplied two pisols through his associates Basawa and another person to his brother Mardan Sulaimankhan on May 28, police said.

KG Halli police were informed about the deal and caught Shareef and Mardan red handed when they were receiving the guns. The police have recovered two countrymade pistols and five bullets and their car.
