BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Primary School Teachers’ Association in Bangalore will organise a one-day conference for primary school teachers. The event offers an opportunity for teachers to interact with primary school education minister.The event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa at Krishna Vihar on Palace Grounds on July 28.President of Karnataka State Primary School Teachers’ Association, Basavaraj Gurikar said that issues regarding Right to Education, role of government schools in the future and measures to strengthen the government primary schools’ structure will be discussed at the conference.“We are making this conference an annual event. This would give teachers, who are participating from all taluks and zillas, an opportunity to interact with each other and formulate plans on primary education and other related school concerns,” he said.
