CHENNAI: Sun Pictures Chief Operating Officer (COO) Hansraj Saxena could be produced before court on Tuesday as the city police is planning to detain him.Saxena was arrested at the city airport on Sunday, following a complaint filed by a Salem-based distributor, who alleged that the Sun TV COO cheated him to the tune of `82.53 lakh. Police sources said they are likely to seek a five-day custody of Saxena for further interrogation.T S Selvaraj, who runs Kandan Films, filed a police complaint alleging that he signed a deal with Sun Pictures to buy the distribution rights to the film Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, for Salem. Selvaraj alleged that though he was given the rights as per the deal, Saxena gave the film directly to theatre owners in Salem after taking money from them.
