CCB sleuths arrest two for prostitution

BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Women and Narcotic Squad of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested two persons including a bar girl on charges of running a prostitution racket on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Mahesh (19), a native of Hanagal taluk in Haveri district, who was allegedly working as a pimp, and the 22yearold bar girl is a native of New Delhi.The duo were running the racket from a flat in Vyshnavi Apartments near Ideal Homes in Rajarajeshwari Nagar police limits. Two mobile phones have been seized from them. Another accused, Manjunath is absconding, police said.
