Tamil Nadu has sought a direction to Karnataka to release 2 TMC of water from the river as the state is facing a rainfall deficit.
New Delhi: Tamil Nadu's plea for water from the Cauvery is all set to come up for hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday.
The plea has sought a direction to Karnataka from the apex court to release 2 TMC (thousand million cubic feet) of water from the river to the state that is facing a rainfall deficit.
One crop of the current season has already been destroyed in the state and it says that another crop might face the crisis if water is not released soon.
