Case filed against Udayakumar

TIRUNELVELI: Koodankulam police registered cases against PMANE coordinator S P Udayakumar, struggle committee members Pushparayan, M P Jesuraj, and others in connection with the attack on the Vijayapathy village panchayat president’s husband and brother. Among the charges levelled was attempt to murder.Stalin (65) of Idinthakarai made a complaint to Koodankulam police that on Saturday night at 8.30 pm, he was attacked near Lourde Hospital at Idinthakarai. He alleged that Udayakumar, Pushparayan and M P Jesuraj instigated Jawahar, Singhu, Newton, Neulson and others to attack him. Sahaya Bebin Raj (45), in his complaint, said he was attacked at Idinthakarai village at 9 pm on Saturday.
