Cambridge to bring in education reforms globally

Senior education advisor of Cambridge International Examinations, John Guy said that Cambridge is looking forward to bringing reforms in the education system across the globe. He was speaking at a press conference after attending a seminar organised by the Association of International Schools in India held here on Friday.

Guy said that Cambridge education system has programmes for students, teachers, principals and parents. “Our programmes focus on promoting students for innovative thinking. We increase their confidence to come up with new ideas and think differently. We prepare them as citizens of the future world. For this the leaders of the schools- principals, headmasters and teachers are taught to make education more interesting for the students. We prepare them for university level education, employment and life.” Guy said.

There are about 9,000 schools associated with Cambridge Examinations. Of this 307 are from India and about 11 are from Kerala. Cambridge is planning a series of programmes and seminars in India.
