New Delhi: US President George Bush has managed to get NATO's endorsement for his missile defence plan.

The plan was endorsed at the NATO summit in Bucharest.

This would enable the US to install a missile defense system in alliance countries in Europe. With this, Bush has levelled scores with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Putin had earlier scored a big diplomatic victory over Bush after NATO denied membership to Ukraine and Georgia, which was supported by the US.

Russia has been strongly opposing the installation of missile defense system, calling it a step towards weakening Russian security.

But NATO countries have asked Russia to drop its objections.

What's your reaction?
