BANGALORE:Beleaguered Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is expected to meet his Cabinet colleagues and BJP legislators, particularly those who are loyal to him, on Monday and discuss with them his future course of action in the light of impending submission of Lokayukta report on illegal mining.According to sources in the BJP, the chief minister, in all likelihood, will take a defiant stand if the party high command asks him to step down.‘’So before meeting the high command, Yeddyurappa wants to assess his strength within the state BJP,’’ sources said.Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa’s rivals, who had failed to unsettle him on several occasions in the past, are leaving no stone unturned to achieve their goal this time.Senior BJP leader HN Ananthkumar and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Jagadish Shettar - both are Yeddyurappa detractors - and held an hour-long discussion on Sunday.
