Tunis: Bordeaux's 31-year-old defender David Jammali has been called up by Tunisia for the first time for the friendly international against Serbia-Montenegro in Tunis on March 1.
Tunisia coach Lemerre, who called up 19 players in all, said Jammali was a top class player with good technique and benefited from playing in France, one of Europe's major leagues.
At the June 9-July 9 World Cup in Germany, Tunisia are in Group H with Saudi Arabia, Spain and Ukraine. Serbia-Montenegro are in Group C with Argentina, Holland and Ivory Coast.
