What happens when a ghost decides to contest elections? Will it add to the existing chaos? Or will it smoothen the whole process?
Director Nitesh Tiwari explores this whacky idea in 'Bhoothnath Returns'. A sequel to the enjoyable 2008 film 'Bhoothnath' the film has Amitabh Bachchan in the title role and a child artiste called Parth Bhalerao playing Bhoothnath's confidante and friend.
The film also has an impressive supporting cast with actors like Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap, Usha Jhadav playing key roles. Shah Rukh Khan will play a cameo role just like he had played in the first part.
Considering it has released during the election time, the film promises to be a topical film with humour infused in it. With it strike a chord with the kids who are its target audience? Shomini Sen of IBNLive.com is inside the theater to find out.
