ASRB ARS 2017 (Prelims) NET 2018: Registration Begins Feb 6, Exams Begin April 6

ASRB ARS 2017 (Prelims) and NET (I) 2018 notification has been released by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) on its official website - asrb.org.in.

As per the official notification, ASRB is scheduled to conduct the Combined Competitive exam from 6th April 2018 till 13th April 2018 for ARS 2017 (Preliminary) and NET (I)-2018 examination. ASRB will organize the combined exam in online mode at 23 exam centres across the country in a staggered slot-wise examination format.

Notification for ARS-2017 and NET (I)-2018 Examination

About ARS Exam 2017:

ASRB aims to recruit 103 candidates for the post of Scientist in various disciplines in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). A candidate should fall in the age bracket of 21 to 32 years as on 1st January 2018, to apply for the ARS Exam 2017. The selected candidates will be eligible to receive remuneration between Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 per month along with grade pay of Rs 6,000 per month. Candidates who will qualify ARS Prelims Exam (Computer Based Test) will be eligible to appear for the Main Exam that is scheduled for 24th June 2018 and will be conducted in pen and paper mode.

About NET (I) 2018:

ASRB conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) - I to qualify candidates to be able to apply for the posts of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). The applicant should be minimum 21 years old to appear for the ASRB NET (I) Exam 2018.
