Los Angeles: Actress Amy Adams hopes her three-year-old daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, will have a 'strong sense of self' when she grows up.
The 39-year-old's desire comes from the fact that she didn't visit New York City until she was 24 and spent much of her younger years moving from one place to another since her father, Richard Kent, was a military man, reports contactmusic.com.
"Everything was new to me as an adult. Everything was mine. I owned everything that I did. Very few things were because of my upbringing ... so I have a real strong sense of self and a sense of accomplishment, and I want my daughter to have that," British Vanity Fair magazine quoted Adams as saying.
Adams and her fiance Darren Le Gallo welcomed Aviana in 2010.
