2G scam: Will HC grant Kanimozhi bail?

New Delhi: DMK MP and 2G scam co-accused Kanimozhi's bail plea comes up for hearing on Monday.

Kanimozhi along with Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar had moved the Delhi High Court challenging a trial court's order against the dismissal of their bail pleas on May 20.

Kanimozhi has been charged as a co-conspirator of former Telecom Minister A Raja in 2G scam.

Both Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar are currently in Tihar Jail. The CBI in its chargesheet has alleged that Kanimozhi has made Rs 200 crore from Swan to Kalaignar TV as bribe money.

Also coming up for hearing is the bail plea of 2G co-accused Karim Morani. The Patiala House Court will decide if the Cineyug chief should walk free.
