HYDERABAD: Two Home Guards whose service had been terminated, climbed atop a floodlight tower at LB Stadium on Saturday and threatened to jump demanding jobs in the police department. Tension prevailed among public as the duo created a drama standing at the top for at least eight hours.Around 8.30 a.m on Saturday, the Home Guards Ram Babu and Srinivas Naik, both from Waranagal district climbed one floodlight tower of the LB stadium demanding to be employed in the police department. As soon as the news spread, police rushed to the spot and started persuading both to climb down.After a couple of hours, they came down after the AP State Police Association Office bearers promised to bring the issue to higherups notice. Later, Saifabad police arrested both of them and registered a case under section 309 IPC for attempting suicide.
