Kolkata: The Kolkata police has arrested two men for allegedly passing on sensitive information on Indian defence to ISI agents.
The two men, both in their mid-30s, have been charged with spying. They were produced in a court and remanded to police custody till February 13.
The police say one of the two, Ainul Haq, is an Indian, while his accomplice, Waqar Salim, is a Pakistani national.
Documents seized from Waqar reveal that he was gathering information about military outfits in the northern part of the country and was using Kolkata as a hideout.
