2 brothers held for murdering friend

HYDERABAD: The police arrested two brothers in connection with a murder case that took place a few days ago at Chandrayanagutta crossroads. According to police, the duo attacked the victim with a sickle and killed him in broad daylight.On May 8, the complainant, Syed Mustafa along with Abdul Sajid Khan, both auto drivers, and the deceased, Mohammed Younus, a real estate agent -- all close friends purchased liquor and toddy at Errakunta toddy compound and consumed it.On being heavily drunk, Younus began abusing Sajid.However, the trio boarded Sajid's auto and Younus demanded that he be dropped at Yakutpura."After crossing Chandrayangutta police station, the complainant got down from the auto and went inside Sri Sai Digital Photo Studio to have some water. At this time, Younus, who bore a grudge against Sajid began beating him with hands and Sajid too retaliated. Meanwhile, Abdul Sameer Khan, Sajid's brother, came there searching for Sajid. Noticing his brother scuffling with Younus, he tried to stop them. But when Younus beat him also, Sameer too started thrashing Younus. In an inebriated condition, Sajid took out a strong stick from his auto and beat Younus indiscriminately on his head and face leading to spontaneous death," said A Srinivas Rao, inspector.Finding Younus dead, Sameer and Sajid fled the place.They were held and produced before the court.
