Anasuya made her cinematic debut in a cameo role in Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana. Shortly after, she delivered an impactful performance in her debut film, Kshanam, portraying a negative lead character. Over the years, she has continued to feature in a variety of films, playing significant supporting roles in Telugu cinema and even making an appearance in the Malayalam film Bheeshma Parvam.
Recently, reports were circulating that Anasuya was dissatisfied with the quality of roles she was receiving, leading to speculation that she had decided to reduce her remuneration significantly due to a lack of substantial offers. However, sources close to Anasuya have refuted these rumours, affirming that the actress is actively securing good roles, and there is no intention to slash her remuneration.
This assertion seems to align with Anasuya’s busy schedule in 2023, featuring in four films – Micheal, Rangamarthanda, Vimanam, Peddha Kapu 1, and Prema Vimanam. Notably, she is reprising her role from Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise in the highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. In a significant expansion of her career, Anasuya is also set to make her debut in Tamil cinema with the movie Flashback.
With a packed lineup of projects spanning different languages and genres, Anasuya Bharadwaj’s robust presence in the film industry suggests that there is no apparent need for her to compromise on her remuneration.
