iCloud is used by Apple devices to back up files on the cloud. By backing up files to the cloud it allows you to protect your files and keep all your Apple devices in sync. This wikiHow shows you how to set up iCloud and backup your photos on an iPhone.
Setting up iCloud on your iPhone
Click on settings iPhone Settings App Icon.
Tap on your name at the top of the Settings screen.
Click on iCloud iPhone iCloud Drive Icon.
Enable the third party apps that you want to configure with iCloud. The first 5GB of files with iCloud Backup are free. If you want more than 5GB of storage in your iCloud backup, you'll have to pay a monthly fee. For 50GB you'll pay $0.99 per month. For 200GB the cost is $2.99 per month. And for 1TB Apple charges $9.99 per month.
Backing up photos with iCloud on your iPhone or iPad
Click on settings iPhone Settings App Icon.
Tap on your name at the top of the Settings screen.
Click on iCloud iPhone iCloud Drive Icon.
Click on Photos.
Tap the green slider to turn on iCloud Photos. This will automatically upload and store all your photos and videos in iCloud.
