- If you cannot find Escape from Tarkov in your Programs and Features list, navigate to "C:\Battlestate Games\BsgLauncher" folder in File Explorer.
- Run the "uninstall.exe" or "unins000.exe" file and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.
- Delete the "Battlestate Games" folder to remove any additional files.
Press ⊞ Win+E to open File Explorer. Since Escape from Tarkov does not appear in the list of Windows applications, you will need to navigate to the uninstall program using File Explorer instead.
Click This PC. It's usually in the menu bar to the left. This will display all drives on your computer.
Double-click your "C:" drive. It may be called "C: (Windows)" or something similar. If you installed Escape from Tarkov on a different drive when installing the game, double-click that drive instead.
Open the "Battlestate Games" folder. Look for a folder called "Battlestate Games" and double-click it to open it. If you choose a different install location when installing the game, navigate to that location instead.
Open the "BsgLauncher" folder. Look for the "BsgLauncher" folder in the "Battlestate Games" folder and double-click it to open it.
Look for the "uninstall.exe" or the "unins000.exe" file. There should be an official uninstall file in the Escape from Tarkov folder. Look for a file called "uninstall.exe" or "unins000.exe."
Run the uninstall program. To do so, double-click the "uninstall.exe" or "unins000.exe" file and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.
Delete the Battlestate Games folder (optional). If you want to remove any and all files related to Escape from Tarkov (including configuration and game save files), you can delete the "Battlestate Games" folder. To do so, click the back arrow button twice, or navigate back to the "C:" drive. Click the Battlestate Games folder, and press the Delete key. Then be sure to empty the Recycling Bin on your Windows desktop. If there are any lingering traces of Escape from Tarkov, you can delete files from the game in the system registry. However, this is only recommended for advanced users who know what they are doing. Deleting the wrong registry files can permanently damage your system.
