Purchase or have purchased at least 500 Credits or the equivalent. You can purchase Credits in the Item Shop. You must purchase at least 500 Credits or the equivalent in value. 500 Credits is equivalent to about $5.00. If you've purchased 600 or more in ESports Tokens, this also counts toward the trade requirement. Cosmetic bundles purchased with real-world money (i.e. Rocket Pass Premium) do not count toward the trade requirement. Enabling Player-to-Player Trading
Open the Settings menu. When you launch Rocket League, select Settings on the Title menu.
Select the Interface tab. It's the fourth tab at the top of the Settings menu.
Make sure "Allow Player-to-Player trading" is checked. It's at the bottom of the "Interface" menu. If this option is not checked, select it to check the checkbox. This option must be enabled in order to initiate or accept player-to-player trades.
Trading with Other Players
Add the player you want to trade with as a friend. You can only trade with players that you have added to your friend's list. Rocket League is cross-platform, meaning you can add friends from other game consoles or gaming platforms. Use the following steps to add a friend: Press the button assigned to Gas/Accelerate on the title menu to bring up your Social menu. Select Add Epic Friend at the bottom of the Social menu. Enter your friend's username. Wait for your friend to accept your request.
Create a party with the person you want to trade with. To create a party, make sure the person you want to trade with is online. Select Create party at the bottom of the Title menu. Select the player you want to trade. Once they accept your invitation, they will be added to your party. If you are invited to a party, you will receive a pop-up asking if you want to accept the invitation. Select Accept to accept the invitation.
Invite a player to trade. To invite a player to trade, select the player's profile icon in the bar at the bottom of the party screen. Then select Invite to Trade. This will send an invitation to the player to trade items.
Select items to offer as a trade. You can select up to 12 items to offer. The items you are offering will be displayed in the grid spaces labeled "Your Offering" on the right side. You can filter your items using the category tabs at the top of the trade menu. Categories include; crates, decals, player banners, wheels, rocket boosts, toppers, antennas, and more.
Check the items the other player is offering. The items the other player is offering will be displayed in the grid spaces below the other player's username on the right below your offerings.
Select Accept. It's at the bottom of the trade offerings on the left side. The trade will be considered "Pending" until the other player accepts the trade. Double-check the items that are being offered and make sure the trade is fair before accepting the trade. All trades are final. If any items are added or removed before the other player accepts the trade, the trade will automatically be canceled, and you will need to hit Accept again.
Wait for the trade to complete. Once both players accept the trade, you will be given a five-second countdown. If you change your mind, you can cancel the trade during the countdown. Once the countdown is over, the trade will be completed. Both players will be notified of the items they received from the trade.
