Select your flowers.

Choose flowers based on the scent you enjoy. This process should work with basically any flower.
Clip the stems.

Remove the stalks from the flowers, so that you are left with the flowers. The stalks will actually make your oils smell worse, so you don’t want to include them.
Fill a jar with oil.

You can use grapeseed, sweet almond, or jojoba oil for this. You’ll need enough oil to fill the jar and sub merge the flowers.
Submerge the flowers.

Add the flowers to the jar and leave them alone for 24 hours. After 24 hours have passed, remove the flowers. Squeeze the flowers over the jar to allow all of the liquid to fall back into the oil.
Continue to add new flowers.

Pick new flowers and add these to the jar ever 2-4 weeks. You will need to repeat this process for a while. You can stop once you notice that the oil is sufficiently scented for your requirements.
Add alcohol.

Use pure ethyl alcohol for this to preserve the oil. Screw on the lid.
Shake the jar and wait.

It should take around 2 weeks for the oil to fully settle. Shake the oil and alcohol mixture every day for at least 2 weeks. The alcohol will always sit atop the oil.
Extract and enjoy your oil.

Pour the alcohol off the oil into a container. It forms the basis of the essential oil and can be used as needed. It is best kept in a dark glass bottle with a lid.
