How to Make a Morning Routine During the Coronavirus Pandemic (for Homeschooled Girls)
Because of the current COVID-19 situation, your schedule might've become a mess! To resolve this, you will need an organized routine to sort out your day. Read along to find out how.
Steps

Sorting Out Your Routine

Figure out your routine. Due to the COVID-19 situation, you will mostly have fewer things to do and might get bored too. Since you likely won't go to school, dress up too well, or will hang out with your friends, you will have to make a routine in which you can keep yourself occupied, and can find time for the important things too.

Make a checklist. Try making a checklist for your daily routine. Add all the important things you do daily, like attending online classes, finishing your chores, and doing homework. You can then add a few things that you have to do on time like studying for a test. After you are done with each duty, you can put a tick on your checklist, which can help you maintain and make sure that your everyday work is done.

Find time to do things that you enjoy. During such a situation, you'd want to find time to do things that you love, and strive to do such as art, dancing, singing, and making videos for YouTube. These things should be done, but you must do work which is important and necessary first, and find time for the other things later.Tip: Try making a timetable to help you maintain your schedule, and let you find time for doing things you love to do.

Doing The Average Things You Do In a Routine

Wake up. Getting up at the right time so you have time to do everything you need to do is quite important. You need enough sleep so that your energy can last throughout the day. Do not oversleep either, as it can affect your daily schedule, and can make you feel grumpy for the rest of the day. Tip: Sleep and wake up at the same time. If you sleep and wake up at the same time, for example, you sleep at 7:00 p.m and wake up at 7:00 a.m, the quality of our sleep can improve, and help us to feel inspired, invigorated and alert throughout the day.

Make your bed. Making your bed daily will make it much more comfortable and so much cleaner, especially if you plan to work in it throughout the day. You could add extra pillows, and blankets, or cuddly teddies/stuffed animals.

Get washed and dressed. Wash your face and have a shower daily, so that you can have a fresh start. Make sure to brush and clean your teeth for a minimum of 2 minutes. When getting dressed, make sure you wear something comfy to work in. If you are attending online classes through which you are seen by many people, make sure it is something smart.

Eat a healthy breakfast. Making sure that you have a healthy breakfast is quite important. Instead of eating an unhealthy breakfast, try eating healthy food which will supply enough nutrition.

Help around. Doing simple chores like cleaning after you eat, and washing your dishes will help your parents, it will make the house look cleaner, and your parents will be happier.

Keep your room tidy. If you are working in your room most of the day, make sure that it is tidy. Make sure that your room is cleaned up, and declutter it.

Look smart. When you attend live, interactive classes, you must look decent enough. You can dress yourself up, and wear a bit of make-up. Keep your hair detangled, tidy, and comfortable.

Prepare before you attend your class. Make sure you know what lessons you have. You could print out sheets that you need, and keep your stationery ready. Keep yourself prepared with everything you need.

Take care of any pets. If you have pets that you need to take care of, it is best to do this after you are ready to go to attend school, but you still have spare time. Give them the food they need, and the minor necessities.

Doing your chores. Do all your chores on time, which will keep your parents happy. You could do your laundry, or ask your parents if they need any help with anything.

Keeping Yourself Busy

Learn new things. At this point, when there is nothing much to do, you can learn something new! You can try learning a new language, teach your pet a few tricks, or learn to play an instrument! Learning new things helps improve brain development and motivate you further, making you much smarter.

Explore your talents. During these times, you might be bored often. This is the time you can explore yourself. Find talents in you. As you explore and try new things, you might find a talent that you never anticipated to have! Improve your knowledge. Keep reading many books, and study hard. This will help you improve in school, and help you learn a lot too.

Find a hobby. You might have a hobby, probably dancing, singing, or painting. Improve these hobbies to make it a talent, and keep working harder. Tip: If you have a fear, such as public speaking, now is the time you can work harder to overcome this fear. Keep practicing it. If you are scared of public speaking, you can keep writing essays and read it to your siblings, family, or stuff toys too.

Keeping A Positive Mindset

Look at the better side of things. Regardless of how things are going for you, you must look at the good side of things with a smile on your face. People are suffering a lot, but 70% of the people are recovering too!

Start smiling more. When you smile more, your brain activates messages that make you feel very positive. Make smiling a habit. When you smile, it creates a positive atmosphere around you, which will make people happier too.

Meditate. Meditation brings the positiveness and calmness in you and removes negativity. There are many benefits to meditation. Meditation reduces stress, controls anxiety, promotes emotional health, enhances stress awareness, lengthens attention span, and can generate kindness and reduces temper too.

Write in a journal. Write all the positive things about your day. Review the day and find positive things about it. Write about your feelings, and if you felt any frustration, or were irritated, write in your journal. Writing in your journal releases stress, and helps get rid of negative thoughts too.

What's your reaction?
