Open the Hulu app. Locate the Hulu app on your Android device and open it. The app is bright green in color and has "hulu" written on it in white letters.
Tap on Account Android 7 Account Box in the bottom menu. Locate the "Account" icon in the bottom right corner of the app, right next to the "Browse" icon. It's icon is a circle with a bent line beneath is to imitate a person. Tap on this icon.
Select Account from the menu. At the top of this page, you should see your name or the username associated with your account. Beneath your name, you'll see the word "Account" next to an arrow pointing to the right. Select this option.
Enter your password. Hulu will now ask you to re-enter your password for security reasons. Type your password into the empty "password" field, which can be found right below the email address associated with the account. After you enter your password, click the large, black "Log In" button.
Scroll down to the section titled Your Subscription. Now, you will be on a page titled "Manage Your Account." Find the section on the page titled "Your Subscription." You may have to scroll down to locate this section.
Select Manage from the Add-ons section. Within the "Your Subscription" section, you'll find an area titled "Add-ons." On the right side of the screen, the word "Manage" will be displayed in blue text. Click on this word.
Toggle the switch Android 7 Switch On to On under No Commercials. On this page, you will see a section titled "No Commercials" in large, gray text. You will also see "11.99/month" in large black text in this section. To select this plan, toggle the switch "On" at the bottom of the section. To signify that you've selected this option, the text "You Want This Plan" will appear.
Select Review Changes at the bottom of the screen. Now that you've selected the plan without commercials, locate the black "Review Changes" button at the bottom of the screen. Tap on this button.
Confirm the change. Before this change goes into effect, Hulu makes you confirm that you want the "No Commercials" plan. Review the information to make sure this is what you want. Then, click on the large, black "Confirm" button at the bottom of the page.
