How to Edit Your Homepage on WordPress on PC or Mac
This wikiHow teaches you how to change the look and behavior of your WordPress blog’s home page.
Steps

Go to https://www.wordpress.com in a web browser. If you’re not already signed in to your WordPress account, click Log In at the top-right corner of the screen to log in now.

Click My Site. It’s at the top-left corner of the page.

Click View Site. It’s near the top of the left column. This opens your site in the right panel.

Click Visit Site. It’s at the top-right corner of the right panel. This opens your blog.

Click Customize. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the page. This opens your blog’s customization tools.

Change the look of your blog. The left column contains options for customizing your blog's homepage. After making changes in one category, tap the left-arrow at the top of the column to return to the list. Here’s what the options do: Colors & Backgrounds: Contains various color schemes and palettes, as well as the option to upload a background image. Fonts: Lets you choose the typeface of headers and blog posts on the page. Header image: Select this option to upload or select a new image for the top of the home page. Menus: The options here will vary by theme, but you can usually create or edit menus in one or more locations on the page. Widgets: Lets you add special tools for different purposes in various areas of the page. Home Page: Lets you choose whether to show a list of your blog posts or a single static page as your blog’s home page. Theme: You can select one of WordPress’ free themes or pay for one with additional features.

Click Publish. When you’re finished making changes, click this button at the top of the left column to save your changes. If you decide not to save your changes, click the X at the top-left corner of the page instead, and then click OK.
