In a shocking turn of events, F1 legend Lewis Hamilton confirmed an incredible switch to Italian manufacturer Ferrari effective from the 2025 season.

The British racer, who joined Mercedes in 2013, enjoyed a massively successful relationship with the Toto Wolff-led side and claimed six of his seven World Championship titles with the Silver Arrows.

During his ultra-successful time at Mercedes, the iconic racer managed to rack up 82 race wins, making it one of the most memorable stints in the history of the sport. The most number of wins with a single manufacturer.

He has a total of 103 race wins to his name, the most in the long history of the sport.

Hamilton also holds the record for the most consecutive wins at the same Grand Prix, as he topped the Spanish Grand Prix podium for five straight years starting in 2017, and going on until the 2021 season.

Hamilton’s record at Mercedes speaks volumes as he has claimed a whopping 93 podium finishes with the Silver Arrows, ever since he made the move in 2013.

The driver from Stevenage has claimed the pole position 77 times with the team.

The 39-year-old has registered the fastest lap a mouth-watering 49 times during his 11-year-long spell at Mercedes.

The British driver managed to put up points on the board for his side in 48 races on the trot that he took part in during the period between the 2018 British Grand Prix at home and the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.

Hamilton also holds the record for most wins in a single month as he claimed four titles in July in the year 2016.

The Brit also holds the record for most seasons with points scored in every race as he produced something on the board for Mercedes in the years 2017 and 2019, while also holding the record for most seasons finishing every Grand Prix in the very same years.
